I’m writing all my fellow South Side High School classmates to tell you about an

exciting product I discovered during an extended stay in Shanghai China. I had never

seen anything like this before in the U.S.A. . I was so impressed, that I decided to start

my own business. I should have known that just building a website was not going to be

sufficient enough to introduce something this unique. How would anyone even know

what to look for? So I am turning to the community, my fellow Hardinge employees and

Let me give you a brief description of my product. We all have tons of photographs

and probably most of us now have digital cameras. In China there is an incredible talent

pool of people who have trained with master artists and now have a unique skill to look at

a picture and free hand carve the picture into the face of solid stone. I am talking about

doing this with a hand chisel, no lasers, and no machines of any kind. It may sound crude

but when you see some of the work they have carved for my friends, customers and

people I work with, you’re going to absolutely flip. I send an email to my artist with a

digital image attached, and they carve it into a piece of highly polished black granite

stone, by hand. The finished carving is then air express shipped direct to the customer.

I’ve been doing this for 1 year now and have made many people happy in Elmira. My

wife Rise’ and I want to spread the joy across the USA.

the fact is, nobody knows about them.
